Identifying Your Look

Sometimes it’s tough to really pinpoint your look, and identify your personal style. We all have different moods, so we think, “What if I get bored with just one look?” Well, that’s the beauty of it. We don’t need to have just one look that we go for. We don’t need to have only one certain look that we are trying to achieve. It’s best to always have your look be a polished one, with whatever you are going after, as well as tying it all together to your personal brand. But venture out of your comfort zone, and be bold. You can pull off much more than you think, it’s just up to you to venture out and go after the look that you want to touch on that particular day/moment. Mix things up a bit, don’t let it get stale. Even if it’s simply a white v-neck shirt, and jeans. Toss on some heels, accessorize it up, and you have yourself a polished relaxed look. It’s really as simple as that.

One of my favorite movies is The Royal Tenenbaums. The hair and fashion in the film has such a unique, personalized look to it, going right along with each characters personality and feel. Do I suggest attempting to pull the looks from the movie off in real life, well no. But I do think it’s a perfect example of how your style can get across your mood of the moment.
